The history of Ram as a separate brand from Dodge is relatively new. In fact, the current ram's head logo for these trucks used to be Dodge's. Since 2010, the brand focuses on light to mid-weight pickups but is still part of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. As a separate division, there is an opportunity to specialize in and prioritize the needs of truck aficionados. Ram pickups have won numerous awards, including truck of the year, so that it is no wonder these vehicles are so sought after.

The first-generation Ram vans and trucks began to populate the road in 1981. Though the nomenclature remained consistent with other manufacturers, there were changes made to the body work, such as squared-off body lines and wraparound tail lamps. Most significantly, though, were the improvements to the engine and transmission that has forever left its stamp on the auto industry. The impact, for example, of the 5.9 Cummins engine has been and continues to be an indication of greatness.

With all of that strength, there is no question as to why they are best-sellers. Models continue to improve year to year, and they are priced accordingly. For those worried about not being able to afford such capabilities need not: at SRQ Auto, we will do everything we can to get you into a truck you'll love. Whether it's for a work site or because trucks are just so cool, we're sure to have what you need in our inventory.
